ANIMATION STUDIO EXPERIENCE – BARBIE FOR NETFLIX
I have been a self sustaining entrepreneur for a good while.
I have always enjoyed my freedom of expression and creativity that is gifted to me in this life I have the co creative power to engage within and express.
After specializing in the art of story having come from a 2D Animation Generalist I garnered a freelance contract at a local Vancouver BC studio known as MAINFRAME.
My authentic experience of the governing culture demonstrated itself as quite immature and toxic but the work and experience was most appreciated.
It was an educational foray into the industry production scene and I was very pleased to have contributed two episodes using my dynamic visual storytelling skills and also an atonement feel for all the Barbie’s I once used to mutilate as a small child.

I enjoyed the process very much and learned a great deal. Visual storytelling from verbal directives to visual blueprints are a really inspiring and expanding endeavour.

It was a fun ride to be propelled into the industry, engage the experience of production boards and then see them come on the big screen.
I realized too in my development that after this endeavour that the enjoyment of traditional art is a good feel however for my sensitivities for creativity I am more inclined towards the 2d character animation feels (gags/squash and stretch/old school quality) for boarding with my own Soul’s passion.
More of a traditional 2D vintage Disney Cartoon Era kinda feel. You can see what I mean in the contrast of these boards above and the aesthetics of THESE BOARDS AND ANIMATIC HERE.
The path of visual storytelling, whether as a contractual investment for work of directing your Mind’s attention and awareness with deliberate life creativity, we are all made of stories.
